Much like our giant-killing 8W7 subwoofers, the Mini Cooper is technologically advanced and capable of thoroughly embarassing larger competitors.

In keeping with this attitude, we pursued a more radical design direction with this project; one which led to the stunning Stealthbox® solution pictured here. With twin 8W7 subwoofer drivers and 1000W of power handling, this system does it all: deep bass extension, immense output capability and ultra-precise articulation.

A recess between the two drivers is designed to receive one or two of JL Audio highest-technology HD amplifiers (as shown in the in-car photo). Solid aluminum rods provide sturdy, stylish protection and allow cargo to be placed on top of the Stealthbox®.

Pretty slick, huh?

THE HARD DATA:
Contains two 8W7-3 subwoofers, each in a separate sealed chamber, each presenting a 3 Ohm load. 1000 Watt combined power handling. Includes grille-protected space provision for mounting of up to two JL Audio HD Amplifiers (optional stacking kit required to mount two amplifiers). Will not fit Clubman or Convertible models.
